KnowGately is useful when the material is valuable but the surrounding platform is distracting.
Use case 1
Assign the exact video. The Kids app removes access to Shorts, open search, comments, the general feed and unrelated navigation.
KnowGately has no ad inventory. YouTube may still serve ads inside its official embedded player.
Use case 2
Set a daily learning minimum, then let a reward subject unlock when the learning goal is reached.
You decide what counts as learning and what counts as a reward.
Use case 3
Give one approved page. KnowGately keeps navigation within the parent-approved scope and filters obvious advertising requests and labelled ad containers.
We make a best-effort attempt to reduce advertising without breaking the page or violating provider policies. Some provider content may still appear.
